Rexroth's Career High Paces Pioneers

Bethany Rexroth followed up her NAIA D1 National
Player of the Week honor with another career-high 35 points on Monday. The Pioneers jumped out to a 20-10 lead (thanks to 10 points from Rexroth) at Central Methodist and maintained a double digit lead for most of the game. A 15-point halftime lead was extended to 20 in the second half, and MNU coasted to a 69-55 victory.
Rexroth had 35 points on 16-18 shooting, 7 rebounds, 2 steals, and 1 block. Hadleigh Meek had 10 points and 4 rebounds. Beth Keeley dished out 8 assists and had 4 steals. Heather Cunard had 7 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 block, and 1 steal. And Kristie Tiegreen had 6 rebounds off the bench.
MNU is 8-7 (3-2 HAAC). The next game is Thursday the 14th at Evangel (11-4, 4-1) at 5:30.
